This is a modern, contemporary building with state of the art facilities including large classrooms, science laboratories, technology and ICT rooms, a six court sports indoor sports hall, creative arts areas and a performance theatre. Outside there is an all weather multi-use games pitch, a climbing wall, a fitness trail and an outdoor dining area. It provides outstanding educational facilities for the boys as well as services for parents, carers and the local community.
The enhanced ICT provision will be an important element in our new school, so that teachers and learners in any part of a school will be able to log onto a wireless network system to access resources and work. The equivalent of £1450 has been invested for each student on ICT hardware alone. They will be able to log onto their own part of the network to access their work even while outside school – in other words, at home or at another school or college where they might be studying one of the new diplomas.
